Built for the live round

From the builder to the OBS overlays, TierContest is engineered for creators who want their chat voting on every pick, not scrolling past.

Drag-and-drop builder

A native drag-and-drop tier list editor built for keyboards, mice, and touch. Add images, custom tier names, and reorder rows in seconds — before you go live.

No-integration connect

Type your Twitch or Kick channel name and go. No OAuth, no bot to install, nothing for viewers to download. You're live in under a minute.

Live chat voting

Every item is a round. Viewers vote by typing a tier letter (S, A, B…) in chat; the tally animates in real time and matching voters earn points when you place the item.

Handles a raid

Vote tallies are sharded to take the full firehose of a big channel, so the numbers stay live even when chat is on fire — up to 20,000 voters a session.

Viewer leaderboard

Chat voters climb a live leaderboard by matching your placements — identified by their username, no account needed — with a Session Champions screen at the end.

OBS overlay kit

Drop the current item, vote bars, round timer, tier board, or leaderboard into OBS as separate, positionable browser sources with transparent backgrounds — or just window-capture the stream-clean console.

A live game show from your chat

Turn any tier list into a live, chat-driven game in minutes. See it from either side.

1

Build your tier list

Drag items into tiers, or start from a template. Build it once, reuse it every stream.

2

Add your channel

Enter your Twitch or Kick name and drop the overlays into OBS. No bot, no OAuth.

3

Go live

Chat votes each item, you place it, and the closest guesses climb the leaderboard.

Questions before you go live

Setup, chat platforms, voter limits, and OBS. If yours isn't here, reach out to our support team.

  • You rank a tier list live on stream while your chat votes on every item:

    1. Build your tierlist with the drag-and-drop editor
    2. Enter your channel name — Twitch or Kick
    3. Go live: each item is a round, and viewers vote by typing a tier letter (S, A, B…) in chat
    4. You place the item; viewers who matched you earn points
    5. The viewer leaderboard updates live on stream
  • No. There's nothing to install, sign up for, or enter. If a viewer can type in your chat, they can play — they just send the tier's letter (like "S" or "A") for the tier they think you'll pick.

  • No OAuth, no bot to add to your channel. You just type your channel name and we read your public chat — the same messages anyone watching can see. You're live in under a minute.

    • Twitch — reads your chat anonymously, zero setup
    • Kick — connects to your channel's public chat

Voting happens in each platform's own chat — no separate app or overlay for viewers.

  • A voter is one unique chatter in a session — not total messages. If the same person votes every round, they still count once.

Free covers up to 500 voters per session; Creator lifts that to 20,000. Past your limit, extra viewers still see the game and can chat — their votes just aren't counted toward the leaderboard. Your session never stops and nothing interrupts your stream; you'll see a quiet "time to upgrade" note in your console.

  • Not yet — live chat voting runs on Twitch and Kick at launch. YouTube is on the roadmap; tell us if you want it and we'll prioritize it.

  • Each round, viewers type a tier letter (S, A, B…) in chat for the tier they predict you'll place the item in. They can change their mind until the round locks — the last vote counts. Matching your placement earns points on the live leaderboard.

  • Yes — two ways, both one-click:

    • Browser Source widgets — add the current item, vote bars, timer, tier board, or leaderboard as separate, positionable overlays with transparent backgrounds
    • Window capture — or just capture the stream-clean console view directly
  • Two plans, no surprises:

    • Free — unlimited live sessions, up to 500 voters each
    • Creator ($12/month) — up to 20,000 voters per session, session analytics, priority support

Annual billing knocks the Creator plan down to ~$8.25/month. Cancel any time from your billing portal.
